Why Is There a Delay in Teams Call Data?
Teams PowerPack - Call Analytics works by connecting to Microsoft Graph APIs and reading information about calls—including PSTN, Teams-to-Teams, conferences, and group calls—that Microsoft makes available through these APIs. This is an effective way to obtain additional information not accessible via the Microsoft Teams reports in the Teams Admin Center.
While this process is generally reliable, it depends on Microsoft making all call information available so it can be presented in reports. Occasionally, delays in providing this information do occur, and, according to Microsoft documentation, these delays are expected. On average, it may take up to 28 hours to display call information.
If call information takes more than 28 hours to appear, we contact Microsoft to investigate possible causes and explore whether there are ways to reduce or eliminate these additional delays.
Our engineering team will reach out to provide any additional options that can be implemented to work around these types of issues.
